Privacy Policy

This policy explains the types of information Nomcrest may collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to visitors.

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Nomcrest websites and services that link to it. It covers information collected when you browse domain listings, contact us, submit an offer or financing inquiry, create a transaction, or otherwise interact with the site.

2. Information we may collect

  • Account and buyer profile information: such as your name, email address, optional company, postal address, city, state or region, postal code, country, password hash, email-verification status, account creation date, and account-related security records.
  • Contact information: such as your name, email address, and message content.
  • Transaction information: such as your buyer account identifier, the domain involved, payment method, transaction status, purchase history, and transfer-related records.
  • Technical information: such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, referring pages, and server logs.
  • Cookie and similar technology data: where enabled for essential functionality, analytics, security, consent management, or advertising.

3. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or escrow providers. Those providers process payment information under their own privacy policies. Nomcrest does not need to receive or store your full card number when a hosted or tokenized payment flow is used.

4. How we use information

  • To create and secure buyer accounts and verify email addresses before purchases.
  • To associate purchases with the verified buyer who placed the order.
  • To respond to inquiries and provide domain-sale support.
  • To process and document transactions and domain transfers.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
  • To measure site performance and, where enabled and permitted, support advertising.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

If Nomcrest enables Google AdSense or other advertising services, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar information to deliver, personalize, limit, and measure advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements. Advertising features may not be active at all times or in all locations.

You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services in Google’s published privacy materials and manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center.

6. Cookies and consent

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy. Where law or Google publisher requirements require consent for advertising or similar technologies, we intend to use an appropriate consent mechanism. Visitors can also use browser controls to manage many cookies.

7. Sharing of information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, process payments, deliver email, prevent abuse, provide hosting, perform analytics, support advertising, or complete domain transfers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

8. Retention and security

Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than readable passwords. Email-verification links use expiring one-time tokens. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including transaction records, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.

10. Children’s privacy

Nomcrest is a business-oriented domain marketplace and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children where doing so would violate applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, legal obligations, or advertising technologies change. The updated date above indicates the latest revision.
